The Short Sleeve Button Up

Short Sleeve Button Up

We are not here to prescribe things you absolutely must own or police any sort of fashion laws; we're merely here to recommend stuff that we love in an attempt to complement and amplify your personal tastes. All that said, we found the perfect shirt for this season. It's going to look awesome on all of you and you can wear it pretty much everywhere.

Allow us to introduce the Short Sleeve Button Up. It is exactly what it sounds like: a button up that has a short sleeve but the discerning difference is the fit based on each brand.  Kuwalla for example is more of a drape oversize fit that rocks well on a patio or beach.  Where Desoto or HUGO tend to be fitted and hug you in all the right ways.  Suddenly, your go-to, bicep-enhancing polo shirt serves the same purpose that'll look fly over tees a dress shirt you can suit up with a blazer and slacks, and a vacation shirt you can leave wide open poolside in your flashiest trunks. They ooze midcentury, Miles Davis cool, but also feel right-now, Tom Holland-on-a-press-junket fresh. They are, the way U2 records used to be in the ‘80s and ’90s, everything all at once to everybody everywhere.

So the next time you catch yourself asking, “What in the world should I wear today?” take a deep breathe and relax, because you now have a definitive answer. Meeting a blind date at a bar? Slip one of these bad boys on with a ribbed tank and some clean blue jeans. Heading to your pal's outdoor wedding? A short sleeve button up with the collar spread wide. Got your regular Saturday tennis sesh in the morning? Leave a few buttons undone over some swishy shorts and crisp white sneaks. Whatever plans you have, whatever your body type, whatever your taste in fashion, one of these vibrant shirts is guaranteed to enhance your fit and earn you plenty of compliments. If you've got a torso and some place to be, these are the shirts for you.
